年末だからだろうか，こんなこともあるんだなと驚いたので，共有しておく。
国際心理生理学機構（IOP）の会長から，以下のようなメール（gmail）を受け取った。
伏字にしてあるが，実在の人物の名前が書いてあり，正しい所属も書かれている。
Hello Hiroshi, How are you? Our friend Dr. xxx xxx and IOP member from Turkey are on the way now to Osaka to attend Her sister funeral. As far as I know, they are on the way to Japan and they have some problem in the Philippine airport. Kindly call them at xxxxx or +xxxxx and please help them in any possible way and I will call you as soon as possible. At this time, I am on my way to the hospital for my check up or possible admittance since I have few symptoms of the virus.

(Nothing to worried about the virus since they have a Medical Certificate from the Ministry of Health of Turkey that they are good to go and their visa already approve.)

本人に問い合わせたら，自分が送ったのではないとのこと。危うく引っかかるところだった。
オーストラリアの先生も似たようなメールを受け取ったようだ（ただし葬式はオーストラリアで行われることになっていたらしい）。
ひどく手間のかかった詐欺メール（scam）である。改めて気をつけようと思った。
